Welcome to the WMS Library! Our staff is dedicated to providing our students with the best possible resources available in both print and non-print formats. Our goal is to support the middle school curriculum, to teach information literacy skills and to foster the love of reading.
WANTED: USED SMART PHONES (and IPODS) AND THEIR CHARGERS!
The library has purchased Virtual Reality Viewfinders so the students at West Middle can go on Virtual Reality field trips! Take a walk on the Great Wall of China... visit the Parthenon in ancient Greece... go through the human body to see how the body systems work... attend the symphony to see the different parts of the orchestra... the opportunities are endless. We need old working smart phones (and IPODS) and their chargers, as each viewfinder needs a phone to operate. The phone does not require cell service, only the ability to charge, and connect to our WIFI to download the free apps.
If you can donate to this awesome opportunity for our students, FIRST RESTORE YOUR PHONE TO FACTORY SETTINGS TO GET RID OF PERSONAL INFORMATION, AND DEACTIVATE PASSWORDS, then send your old smart phone and charger to the library. Thank you in advance!
